Baked Vanilla Sheet Pancake is a soft, fluffy, oven-baked version of classic pancakes made in a single pan. It’s perfect for serving a family without standing at the stove flipping pancakes one by one. The texture is light and slightly cake-like, with a golden top and a soft interior. Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or even a light dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional toppings before baking:

  • Sliced bananas
  • Berries
  • Chocolate chips

Preparation Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Add your choice of toppings like fruits or chocolate chips on top.

Baking Time

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18–22 minutes or until the top turns golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
