Stuffed Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

For the Filling

  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley or spinach
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    Place each chicken breast on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a pocket into the side of each breast without cutting all the way through.
  2. Make the Filling
    In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley or spinach, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stuff the Chicken
    Spoon the filling into each chicken breast pocket. Secure with toothpicks if necessary to keep the filling inside.
  4. Season the Chicken
    Rub the outside of the chicken with olive oil. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  5. Cook the Chicken
    Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
  6. Rest Before Serving
    Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh green salad.
